What to see and experience
Nature, rocks and views on foot
The Broumov region is proud of its impressive sandstone cliffs and rock towns of the Adršpach – Teplice Rocks National Nature Reserve. Directly from the cottage you can walk to the Jirásek Rocks in about 40 minutes and in another 20 minutes directly to the rock town of Adršpach. A very nice view of the wide surroundings can be seen from the rock lookout of the former medieval castle of Skály (Bischofstein). For another hiking trip directly from us, you can go to the southeastern edge of the Teplice Rocks, where the rock area Maze with Vulture Rocks is located away from the main hiking trails. Beautiful views of the landscape can be enjoyed from the lookout tower Čáp, which is the highest point in the area. There are also beautiful walks through the meadows and forests around Vápenka.
Nature, rocks and bike trips
The region is known for its extensive rock towns and unique religious and traditional architecture. The Broumovsko Bike Resort is interwoven with a dense network of marked cycle paths and hiking trails. It offers a wide range of combinations for planning cycling trips both for family rides with children and for demanding sports and adrenaline bikers.
History expeditions
Even history lovers will find something to their liking here. In addition to the well-known monasteries of Broumov and Police, you will certainly enjoy the picturesque villages of Police with typical timbered cottages. The group of eight Baroque churches and the Hvězda Chapel are among the exceptional Baroque monuments. You will also find a copper mine or a milling museum in an old mill.
